Life on Purpose

Born for a purpose. God’s divine will for me is found in relationship with Him, seeking Him in all that I do.

The creator of heaven, earth, and all of its creation, loves me and He loves you. My good and gracious heavenly Father wants you to know Him, so that you can follow Him and there you will find the will He has for your life.

Life in Purpose is a blog site where I write about relationship with God. Through prayer, study, and application the seeds in which you sow, and the virtues you may reap can be seen in a life transformed in Christ. God tells us that each of us are created fearfully, and wonderfully by a God who loves us. Only by knowing Him, do we know who we are in Him.

How do you keep that focus throughout your week, when church service has ended and it’s back to the grind of appointments, work, school, meal planning, and errands. With little down time that most of us face, being consistent in prayer and intentional about our thoughts is what we are called to do. Culture pulls us so we think we are too busy for God, but if we are willing to put God first, then He will always make a way.

God promises that His plans will not forsake you in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Choosing a life built on the foundation of faith and honoring Christ through all of life’s circumstances is the only way to have peace in a broken world and raise your children up in the way they should go.

Dig in a little deeper, don’t let your days, and quickly the years fall into default mode – don’t let culture tell you who you are, know who you are in your creator. Here you will find tools, studies, and resources to be intentional in your faith, and personal growth.

The Mama Program provides mama’s a clear focus on their prayers for their marriage, children, home, community. It is intended as a tool to keep in front of you scripture and personalized prayers for your loved ones and for your journey in faith. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “pray without ceasing”, therefore, as mother’s, and daughters to a heavenly father, we must continually pray.

  • Did you ever think “this will be the turning point” in a relationship? Holding tightly to hope then realizing soon that hope requires action, and what you have is a wish. Thinking that maybe if I just address my feelings or needs in a different way, I will be received better, or validated in some…

  • I once had a manager tell me in a performance review, “You come as an afterthought.” This comment struck me down as a professional, it made me feel stuck. On a personal level, it hurt. Was it my role, or was it me? After the review, I paused, I stepped outside, reflected and prayed on…

  • I believe in God my heavenly Father, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, I believe that He died for me, and that the Holy Spirit lives in me. My faith has led me to transformation. Addictions and mindsets that once hindered my growth, no longer have a hold on me. I…
